Set up your inbox like a file cabinet. You can create folders and use them in the same way.
Also, some useful folders to keep your inbox from becoming overwhelming and make sure you don't miss anything are:

To Do
To Attend
To Respond
To Enter (if the info needs to be entered somewhere else)
To Pay
Add other folders as needed - and set aside time each week to go through these folders and take care of business!

Description: Increasing Efficiency and Productivity
During these slower economic times being efficient and maximizing productivity makes all of the difference. When you spend time looking for missing files, inefficient scheduling and failing to set appropriate priorities and task lists can reduce your bottom line. The Time Management and Organizational techniques learned here can increase your effectiveness throughout the day and help you get more done in less time.
Suzanna Letchford is an organizer with a passion! She has served as Managing Director of a non-profit corporation as well as Director of Finance for a national corporation and brings this business knowledge to her work. She has led seminars on Organization and Time Management and is a contributing writer for the book Expanding Circles of Influence. As owner of A Space That Works Professional Organizing she works one on one with corporate clients and individuals to help them achieve their goals.
